Celebrating black joy and culture, the Message family in New Orleans join the positivity each July by sharing Message at the Essence festival.

“It is absolutely refreshing to be in that atmosphere, knowing that the word of God is going out, knowing someone’s life will be changed,” said true believer Oscar Charles, who serves as an Elder at United Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church. “Someone will never be the same again!”

“For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother” (Matthew 12:50).

National Nite Out introduced neighbors and volunteers in the annual community gathering to highlight watchfulness and mutual support in August. In Queens, N.Y. Lisa Quailey, an Elder at the Victory Fellowship Worship Center, rallied sponsors and volunteers, including Pastor Glen Frazier who helped with the Message Resource booth. Upon seeing the support, and the embrace of the community, Quailey felt impressed.

“My heart is full.”
